Speech & Language Therapist

Term time only - 22.5 hrs per week

Salary range: FTE £31,080 - £37,702 Band 5 Therapy Pay scale (pro rata salary range for term time only is £16,927 - £20,533).

Salary dependant on skills and experience.

St Mary’s School is looking to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic Speech & Language Therapist with demonstrable interest in, or experience of, working with complex speech, language and communication needs.

St Mary’s is a residential special school and college for pupils / students aged 5 to 19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties and other associated SEND.

You will be a member of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for assessing, planning and delivering individualised intervention programmes for a defined caseload. You will work with children individually or in small groups within classroom-based sessions and specialist therapy spaces to enable pupils to access the curriculum and promote meaningful engagement in school-based tasks.
