These are pictures showing the children working on consolidating their understanding of the numbers 0 – 5. They had to pick a board, recognise the number, and then roll out that many balls of dough and put them in the 5-frame. They also had to try and find a loose, matching numeral. They all did well with this and are starting to realise that if a 5-frame is full, they don’t need to count the amount, they can just say, ‘5!’
