Transition age young people 16-19
2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd of March 2019
morning session: 10am - 12pm
afternoon session: 1.30pm-3.30pm
Saturday Art Breaks is a series of creative workshops that give 8 young people and their families the opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled professional artists and experience art as a tool for exploration, communication and self-expression.
The choice of a morning or afternoon workshop is available. During which the young person will work with the same artist over four weekly sessions.
They will have the opportunity to develop art work on their own terms with a wide variety of materials and techniques available.
The children and young people that access Art Breaks are at the centre of the project. Their response to the environment shapes the project and how it develops. This personalised approach creates a sense of identity and ownership not only over the work that they make but also the environment they are in.
Please contact Patricia to discuss a visit to the studio in Hastings and spaces.
