Pupils from years 9 and 10 visited a Careers event. The iCan event has been developed to support young people in Year 9 upwards, and their parents, carers and supporters, who have barriers to accessing mainstream careers events, such as students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The event is designed to help young people develop confidence as they progress through education and into employment and enable them to become more independent as they transition into adulthood. The pupils loved the experience and it has got them thinking about their futures.
