Sarah graduated in Agricultural Economics from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. She started her career in flour milling in Liverpool, and has worked for a number of food businesses in commercial roles across UK, US, Europe and Australia. She has been with Associated British Foods for 14 years, running a number of businesses including Silver Spoon, Ryvita, Allied Bakeries and TipTop in Australia before becoming CEO of Associated British Foods UK Grocery Division in 2010
Sarah lives in Kent with her husband Chris, five horses and assorted other animals.
